Use pre-made or homemade puff pastry for this recipe.
Brown butter frosting
- To make brown butter, melt the butter in a saucepan, then stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Once the mass has settled, continue heating it until an amber color and a nutty flavor. Take it off the stove.
- In a large bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, and flour. Then pour in the brown butter in a thin stream, stirring. Leave the mixture to cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then place in the fridge until completely cooled.
- Combine the resulting frosting with the finely chopped apples and cinnamon.
You can bake pastries (preparation in the video), squares or large pies with such a flavorful filling.
