All kids love the candy cane decor. It can be very diverse: the flames, the balls, the splashes, the ice floes, the waves… And the most important thing is that it is very simple and cheap.
Ingredients
You will need:
- water 35 g | 1.25 oz
- sugar 110 g | 3.90 oz
- glucose syrup 50 g | 1.75 oz
Cooking
- Mix all the ingredients, and boil them in a saucepan to a temperature of 155C (311F). The temperature is very important!
- You can add some food coloring, if you wish.
- Pour the finished syrup onto a silicone mat, and turn it into the shapes you need.
