Edible paper cake decoration

Looks fluffy and 100% spectacular!

Recipe by:

First you need to cut out circles from edible paper (it is very convenient to do this with special hole punches, but I cut them out using scissors).
Fold each circle in half.
Then, using a brush and water, glue the circles together at the fold.
Glue the blanks to the cake.

* I had 10 sheets, the decorations were enough for one side of the 18 cm cake.

* If you have ever made paper voluminous toys for the Christmas tree, then the same principle applies here.

P.S. This is just a waffle, you can eat it if you wish, but of course there is no special taste in it.

For the cream, combine sour cream, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, cornstarch, and cook until thickened, stirring all the time over low heat.
Cover with cling film and let cool completely.
Mash the cottage cheese with a blender or wipe it through a sieve until smooth.
Combine the custard base, cottage cheese, mascarpone and quickly beat with a mixer until all the ingredients are combined.
