Method

  1. Whisk the eggswith sugar, sour cream, vegetable oil and vanilla.
  2. Sift the flour and baking powder, and mix them together.
  3. Combine the dry and liquid mixtures.
  4. Grease the baking tin with butter, sprinkle it with flour, and pour in the batter.
  5. Spread the figs on top. Sprinkle with spices and almond petals.
  6. Bake the pie in the oven preheated to 356-392F (180-200C) for 45 minutes.
