- Whip the butter at room temperature with sugar and an egg.
- Sift the dry ingredients, add vanillin or vanilla sugar / extract.
- Wrap the dough with cling film, and flatten it into a "bun".
- Put it in the fridge to cool.
- Roll out the dough 5mm (0.20 inch) thick on a floured surface, and cut out the cookies with a cookie cutter.
- Bake the cookies at 356F for 10-12 minutes.
