- Mix the powdered sugar and the regular sugar together. Place the egg whites in a clean and dry bowl and beat with a mixer at a slow speed. Wait until a little foam appears on top and start adding the sugar mixture. Gradually increasing the speed to medium, add all the sugar in portions.
- Preheat the oven to 284F. Bake almond petals for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Cool down.
- Gently mix the meringue with the petals. Put parchment on a baking sheet, and on top with a spoon put small washers at a distance of 3-5 cm from each other. Bake the meringue at 284F for 1 hour until golden brown. The middle will be slightly damp. Cool down.
Brew strong coffee without, sugar and enjoy!
