Method

Cooking instructions

  1. Mix the powdered sugar and the regular sugar together. Place the egg whites in a clean and dry bowl and beat with a mixer at a slow speed. Wait until a little foam appears on top and start adding the sugar mixture. Gradually increasing the speed to medium, add all the sugar in portions.
  2. Preheat the oven to 284F. Bake almond petals for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Cool down.
  3. Gently mix the meringue with the petals. Put parchment on a baking sheet, and on top with a spoon put small washers at a distance of 3-5 cm from each other. Bake the meringue at 284F for 1 hour until golden brown. The middle will be slightly damp. Cool down.

Brew strong coffee without, sugar and enjoy!
