Today we share a recipe for a flavorous passion fruit curd (you can also call it a fruity custard).


To cook it, you will need:

  • 2 passion fruit (frozen or fresh) | 2.00 items
  • 4 yolks (or 2 eggs) | 4.00 items (or 2.00 items)
  • 100 g sugar | 3.55 oz
  • 60 g butter | 2.10 oz


  1. Mix all the ingredients except for the butter. Bring the mixture to a boil over a low heat or in a water bath, stirring constantly. Add the butter in the end, and mix well.
  2. Transfer the curd to a jar, and refrigerate it. After cooling, the custard will become denser. It can be used as a filling for the cakes and the cupcakes, as well as eaten simply with pancakes, cheesecakes, etc. ... or with a spoon))
