Beat the softened butter with sugar and vanilla sugar. Add vegetable oil, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt. Mix well. Gradually add the flour.

Cut the plums into small cubes and chop the walnuts.

Add the plums and walnuts to the dough and gently mix.

Refrigerate the dough for half an hour.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (356F).

With moist hands, form cookies slightly larger than a walnut.

Place them on parchment paper and gently flatten each cookie.

Bake for 15-17 minutes.

Allow the cookies to cool completely on a baking sheet and then transfer them to a wire rack.

If desired, you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar or drizzle them with melted chocolate.
